If you open just one of those big spritesheets, you can simply set the grid to 32x32 and it will be correct.Then you can use some of the steps Iliketea mentioned to isolate the sprites. So, even if you need the images isolated, you should have a 32x32 grid on and the characters centered properly. Second, those sprites are made with the standard 32 x 32.
